Arthritis

Arthritis !!
many people of d world r suffering from this condition called arthritis.........
it is very broad in explanation, having many sub classifications,,,but inshort is an inflammation of joints characterised by joint swelling n pain , stiffness n redness also seen,.....immobility + state of dependence is final outcome of this condition.
it may b associated with many conditions like :
Infection,
Rheumatic fever ,
Trauma,
Neurological disorders ,
Degenerative disease of joints i.e. osteoarthritis,
Ulcerative colities,
Psoriasis,
Raynaud's disease,
Gout, etc...........
After diagnosis of arthritis ..often a person will wander for treatment and thinks of modifying his life.." i have to take care of very minute things that affect my disease..will limit heavy work, restriction in diet, will go in yoga n excersice to improve my stamina & manythings,,, OR fall into pit of depression, fear, anxiety or frustration thinking that "now , i have to live with it n just bear it,my joints will b of no use, i wont b able to move anymore, i will become dependent for every basic needs of my life..etc....
Although....human being is afterall very struggling for everything...
personal management of arthritis:->

Body weight:- if u r fatty its a hinderence to manage arthritis..it gives a burden to joints...so eat low calories and light food. n reduce weight.....dont do fasting,it doesn't help anymore...
Balanced diet :- take almost good balanced food like:cereals,pulses,milk, fruits, vegetables, fats, sugars..fish oils.
take much liquid.(3 litre/day) which helps to maintain your vitality.dont take high claorie , deep-fried fatty foods,use of various oils as cooking medium like rice bran,sesame,groundnut, soyabean,sunflower,cottonseed, mustard,etc...
Avoid ALCOHOL at all .
.In GOUT avoid glandular rich meat, sea foods,peas,beans,spinach,oatmeal.
Essential elements of life:- minerals n vitamins...vitamin C , D , Calcium r more useful ...it is present in milk, green leafy vegetables, fishes...
Exercise:- make a schedule of exercise. it is beneficial from both side( arthritis n obesity)..u must consult your doctor or physiotherapist or occupational therapist. self doctory in exercise may lead u in more loss of your health;
some tips for exercise:-
put your 100% to do it properly...willingly do it..u should feel comfortable with it,
massage or apply heat or cold applications to joints before excercise,,,,
warm up before exercising with slow pace.
never become over enthu to exercise , do it only its limit...
avoid fit clothes during excercise.
concentrate fully on advice given by moderator,,,,,,,
dont eat or drink soon after exercise,,,,rest for 5 to 10 mins..
be careful if u have chest pain , breathless, dizzy or sick or any discomfort feeling during exercise.....
